Replacement Bull Breed

Because of performance and illness, the PEÑAJARA bull breed scheduled for July 7, 2009 has been replaced by the breed Alcurrucen, which we last ran with in July 2006. They do not appear in Pamplona often. Replacing bulls this late is very uncommon, which required the consent of the matadors. It should address the concerns of those that claim that bulls in Spain are not at peak health for the bullfight. In 2006, these bulls ran together and fast, and to the best of my recollection, not a single runner suffered an injury.  Of course, that means absolutely nothing.
